Papa Duck and Mama Duck are overjoyed. A baby is born.



Now, its a duck family of three.

Mooncake..

Today is the mooncake festival. Well, I am not eating mooncake today. Had too much already, and scarily, I still have about 8 mooncakes in the fridge! Whose fault? Of course not mine. People seem to like to keep mooncakes in my fridge!

Anyway, I thought for this year, for a change, I will make lanterns. Initially, I made one which was intended as a gift for a friend of a friend. The `gift'..




It looked a bit plain. So I added a tassel.

As planned, I gave it away. So sad.

So, I made another one!!! Hooray.. now I have one all for myself.

This is Papa Duck.

I am going to make a family of ducks. It will take me a while to make a whole family, but I will get there! :)

This is M. The pattern is the Superkid from Jean Greenhowe's Little Gift Dolls. I am so happy with it. It actually look like what its supposed to look like, minus the ears. Hooray... Now I can play with it everynight before I go to sleep! :P

Went kayaking

My arms and shoulders are so sore. Yesterday, my brother dragged me kayaking at Damai Puri. Yeah, its Damai Puri again. We were trying to get a place at Damai Beach, but it was all fully booked! Apparently it was school holidays!!!

Anyway, we were only aiming for that little tree in the horizon!

My conclusion is that exercise doesn't agree with me. Now I have to rest my hands for a few days before continueing with my crocheting..

Squares

I haven't been making any toys lately. I kinda have been making some squares.



I am not too sure what I am going to do with them.

at Damai..

Yes, I was at the Damai Puri Resort & Spa for a few days. The environment was nice. All the sea breeze..

My room was quite comfy. It has a queen size bed. Maybe I am not used to foreign bed. I woke up in the middle of the night at least once sleeping in that bed.



The room also has a LCD tv hanging on the wall.

It has a balcony facing the sea (mine was only facing part-sea, part trees).

It has a nice bathroom.

I wish I had more time to pamper myself there.

Elmo and Grover seem to be getting naughty.

I had to go away for a few days. So I decided to bring along Elmo, Cookie and Grover along.
