A Dog and a Bear...

When I was back in Sibu last August, I promised my brother a dog. He was even so nice as to take me to the shop to buy the yarn. However, I was too busy watching drama series to make the dog! After that, I came back to Kuching. The other day, I was feeling kind of free at home. I looked at the yarn and started making the dog I promised.

Still with nothing to do after finishing the dog, I looked at my available yarns and make this bear!!

Shawl

I finally completed a shawl I started making a long while ago.

I started making this shawl in July and now its October.

Goodness! It took me 4 months to complete one shawl.

Now, I need an occasion to wear it to.

Tiny Elmo

I was on sick leave the last two days. I must be really bored at home that I made a miniature Elmo.

Together with the other Elmo I made, they looked like father and son.

My Chocobo Lookalike

Here I present my latest, Chocobo lookalike.

Actually I have no idea where this character Chocobo springs from.

I also cannot figure out what it is. It looks neither like a duck nor a chick.

This is my Halloween Chocobo lookalike.

Friend's wedding

This morning I attended a friend's wedding. The wedding started with a church ceremony and followed by brunch. It was such a nice, simple and cosy wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. May my friend and her husband have a blissful marriage.

Mooncake..

Today is the mooncake festival. Well, I am not eating mooncake today. Had too much already, and scarily, I still have about 8 mooncakes in the fridge! Whose fault? Of course not mine. People seem to like to keep mooncakes in my fridge!

Anyway, I thought for this year, for a change, I will make lanterns. Initially, I made one which was intended as a gift for a friend of a friend. The `gift'..

It looked a bit plain. So I added a tassel.

As planned, I gave it away. So sad.

So, I made another one!!! Hooray.. now I have one all for myself.

M

This is M. The pattern is the Superkid from Jean Greenhowe's Little Gift Dolls. I am so happy with it. It actually look like what its supposed to look like, minus the ears. Hooray... Now I can play with it everynight before I go to sleep! :P
