My new shawl

My cousin was getting married, and I thought I will knit myself a new shawl to go with my dress. So I got out my furry white yarn, my 10mm knitting needles, casted on 30sts and garter stitched.


I knitted and knitted all the free hours I had for a few days.. and finally... I got myself a new shawl...

Looks good on, right?

Its August already??

Me, my boyfriend and his colleagues were having drinks right opposite a petrol station tonight. All the while, there was this long queue to go into the petrol station. It looked like there was a rush for the petrol after the PM's sudden announcement of petrol prices going up overnight. I thought the minister said the petrol prices were only going to go up in August 2 days ago. Gosh... I must have missed a couple of months.. I thought its only June.

Gawai Eve

Its only the start of the long weekend and I have already 1) swept my floor, 2) mopped the floor and 3) doing the laundry now... The sky is looking a bit gloomy though.. but who cares... I am even watching some local tv programme that I never wanted to watch!

After completing that bag, I am so inspired to make a shawl. So, I got out those furry yarn that I bought in Perth last June.

I tried to knit a shawl...

I changed my mind about using this yarn. So I got out another type of furry yarn and attempted at knitting a triangle shawl.


I wasn't even halfway towards completing it and my boyfriend commented that it looked like some kinky underwear!! That was not very encouraging... Maybe I should make it into a long shawl...

People seems to be moving away like nobody's business. Last night, I attended another friend's farewell dinner. I was supposed to chip in for the farewell gift, but I was a bit stingy. So I made her this...

My New Bag

I have finally completed my bag. I got the daisy square pattern from Krystal Krochet and the idea for the bag from a blog ( I forgot which blog). It took me a long while to complete the bag. Yesterday, I finally got the correct zipper and finished making the bag!! I took it shopping last night too. Here's how the bag look on the other side and inside.

Farewell Dinner

Tonight, my boyfriend brought me along to his colleague's farewell dinner. I was waiting for him to finish his phonecall. As I had nothing better to do, I put little teddy there on his tummy.. hey, it can actually sit on it!!! Goodness... I must be feeding him well.

The farewell dinner was kind of a private affair. There were only 5 of us at the dinner. Yummy curry fish head featured in our menu ....


Before we went, I asked my boyfriend between this
and this which one the friend looked like more. The answer I got was the teddy bear. When I arrived at the dinner, I knew why. Ok. I felt like this penguin. The rest of them were like that cow!

Dog Issue

My boyfriend wants to keep a dog! The problem is I don't like PETS! What is a poor girl to do... So I compromised... I told him he can keep this dog...

Its weekend

I promised my brother to make him a rabbit a while back, but I never gotten round to making him one. This afternoon, I made him an iPod cozy. An iPod Cozy for a rabbit. My brother is happy with it. :)
